Beware of fuel overages, this branch will pull a fast one on you. The car I rented was left with almost no fuel and I was not given an initial rental agreement when leaving with the car- so they charged me $117 for half a tank of fuel when I left the car with more fuel than I started. Otherwise I was loaned a nice car and received quick service upon arrival, but they are sketchy.

Don't even bother. I made a reservation over 2 weeks before I needed it. I get there to be told there's no cars. They don't know how long the wait will be or what they even have available. So there I sit at the airport, stranded with no car and a not honored reservation. Do not waste your time with them, go through Avis or National and save yourself a massive headache.

Enterprise is much better with handling rentals. I could not get the help I needed from Hertz despite talking to three different people and one just flat out ignored me. It is easy to see the reason their doors shut when covid hit.

Great customer service when put first, also quick ,and reliable upon arrival. I was impressed with the level of professionalism and kindness upheld from Veronica along with kam. Vehicles next to brand new with low miles. Overall highly recommended.

05/20/24 And I thought this was a one time experience, I made a reservation at Hertz on N Clack and then received a call saying they are not open and I need to pick the car up at Abilene Airport Hertz. I arrived there and was still there an hour and a half later. Went to 3 different cars which all had ashes and very dirty , one even still had tabbaco visibly in the cup holder and the floor. Now to top that off the Aux to be able to connect the phone did not work. So the guy working tried to help and found one of there cars that had a system to connect the phone so the maps could be on the screen. So he called his manager (known to me as Kam because I emailed pick of dirty car before) who advised him I would need to pay an upgrade charge or they could close my contract with the cost of the car and the extra 250.00 that us held on my credit card. I use Hertz in other cites and have amazing service. But Abilene Airport Hertz needs a complete OVERHAUL of management and car cleaning crew. And the manager does not realize word of mouth is worse than any advertising Hertz could do. As I was leaving because I had somewhere to be,again I had to come back in because the car was not full as stated. I made sure to tell everyone in there line to make sure to check there cars because to 3 I looked at were dirty, dirty and one was even nasty. Once I return, I will not use this location again. Just know being a Platinum/Gold Rewards member means nothing to this location. ABILENE AIRPORT HERTZ IS HORRIBLE...

Justice is the guy you need on any , i mean any rental needs. Was left stranded by Greyhound 260 miles from destination and Justice went beyond with easing my angst regarding the situation. Got me headed square in less than half n hour with nothing but sweet natured genuine care. Awesome dude. Hertz. Hang on too this guy please!!
