This is a precious jewel on Academy Rd. Try jalapeño cucumber tequila, and all food items are great. My server Isabelle was very helpful finding me the items I like on the menu. This old style atmosphere mixed with a welcoming feeling of southern and Mexican home is certainly a unique experience. 👌

The food is incredible if you like simple, Mexican/Tex-Mex food. For the price, you get an enormous portion of food that comes with unlimited chips and salsa, as well as sopapillas and honey for dessert. Be prepared to wait as the restaurant is always busy. Luckily, staff are incredibly friendly and quick, so you don’t feel like you wait that long at all. We were seated and had an excellent meal. I suggest going with the combination plate if you want to try different items. Definitely make sure to try both their green and red hatch chile. Overall, this was a really satisfying experience from start to finish.

First time eating New Mexican food and I’m not a fan. When the menu says “beef”they mean “ground beef” in your tacos, enchiladas, etc. The food was bland although the portions were big. Mama friend had the brisket burrito and that was pretty good.

Finally, I got to try Sadie's, and it was just ok. The food was a little more spicey than traditional Mexican American chain restaurants, but it was pretty flavorless. It was crowded and the environment was very average. Nothing stood out as special. Disappointed, there was no rice.

Traveling thru, hotel staff recommended. It’s always good to see lots of cars in parking lot. Sat @ the bar for a drink & food. Staff deserves a shout out, everyone especially the bar staff was filling drinks & taking orders. Friendly & professional. We really like New Mexico style foods & were not disappointed.
