They got me... made it sound great at the initial visit. But day of procedure they tried to book many people in a tight window. My showtime was 1045. At 1120 the 9am appointment was just getting ready to get in. Three people ahead of me still waiting after the 9am person. I went there from San Angelo after being told just a quick 20 min procedure. They left out I'd be waiting until about 3 just to get started. I get it, money makes everyone happy, but do better and schedule patients appropriately

Always enjoy my visits to Dr Patel's office. He has been one of my Dr's for years and he and his staff has taken excellent care of me. They actually take the time to talk and get to know you to allow them to provide the best care possible. Thank you.

I was told last week that I had liver disease and esophageal varices. I had a fibroscan done oner a month ago. I was not given the fibroscan results therefore was not told how bad my liver disease is despite the fact that esophageal varices are usually caused by cirrhosis. They are having issues with IT and therefore can't see the results. I've called everyday with no results. They do the fibroscan in their office and could re do it at anytime to ease my mind but instead they just blame IT. I would highly recommend finding a physician and office staff with compassion and empathy and this is not the place. You cannot give devastating news to a patient without knowing the full picture or giving your patient a plan of treatment. I'm a mother to a two year old who is my world and I am devastated with this diagnosis and not knowing what's next.

I will never go here again! Had to take my baby here because he was having issues with his stomach. Doctor Patel asked me a few questions and I answered him and he began to explain what we needed todo. I had very hard time understanding him and so I had few questions. When I was in middle of asking him if meditation might help…with an attitude he stopped me and rudely told me that he had listened to me so I need to listen to him. Which I did listen to him but of course like any mom we are going to have questions…especially when you can barley tell what is being explained to you. Of course I felt very uncomfortable after him talking to me like that so I kept the rest of my questions to myself.Long story short if you’re going to be a Doctor be kind and learn to be respectful to your patients. It’s okay to answer their questions and not be rude.I had to travel 2 hours to come see him and turned into the worst day!! Never have had a doctor lash out like this before just for asking a question. Very strange.

Dr Patel and the surgery center are amazing!! I was terrified of my endoscopy procedure and his nurses and himself reassured me I’d be ok after cancelling in him twice! Thank you Dr Patel and Nurses and his anesthesiologist for my care and comfort! Great doctor and staff! Highly recommend!

Very please with my husband's first colonoscopy procedure under Dr. PATEL and his staff. Dr. Patel's bed side manners were very pleasing.
